Use the below calculator to calculate the three-year total cost of ownership (3TCO) based upon the following information:
 
* To operate a give system or control would take two (2) hours per week. 
* The hourly rate is $125 per hour. 
* The system also charges an annual licensing fee of $7200 per year to operate. 
* The implementation cost is $36,000 to acquire the system, 80 hours to implement it, and the implementation labor rate is 
$125/hour.

How much is the three-year total cost of ownership (3TCO)? 

HINT: 

The Annual Operating Cost is calculated using the formula:  (Annual Renewal Cost) + (Operating Hours × Labor Cost)

The Implementation Cost is calculated using the formula: Acquiring Fee + (Implementation Hours x Labor Rate)

The three-year total cost of ownership (3TCO) is calculated using the formula:  [(Implementation Cost) + (Annual Operating Cost x3)




Answer: The total operating cost would be $106,600 to implement this control.
