Candidate Code of Ethics

In the pursuit of excellence and integrity, AKYLADE has established a Code of Ethics that all of its candidates and certified people must adhere to.

This Code of Ethics establishes the fundamental principles and professional standards expected of all participants in our certification program.

As a benchmark for ethical behavior, this code serves to guide candidates in making decisions that reflect the highest level of integrity, responsibility, and respect for the profession.

Upholding these values is not only essential to earning and maintaining certification but also to fostering trust and credibility within the industry.

Each candidate is expected to adhere to this Code of Ethics, demonstrating a commitment to ethical conduct in all aspects of their professional journey.
  1. I will make claims regarding this certification only with respect to the scope for which certification has been granted;  

  2. I will not use the certification in such a manner as to bring AKYLADE into disrepute, and will not make any statement regarding the certification which AKYLADE considers misleading or unauthorized;

  3. I will discontinue the use of all claims to certification that contain any reference to AKYLADE or certification upon suspension or withdrawal of certification, and to return any certificates issued by AKYLADE; and

  4. I will not use the certification in a misleading manner.
Candidates who have been found to have violated the Code of Ethics may be referred to a disciplinary board and potentially have their certification suspended, revoked, or withdrawn.
